Assistant Program Director

Position/Title: Assistant Program Director - The LABBB Collaborative is seeking an outstanding educational leader with excellent supervisory skills who will be part of the LABBB Administrative / Managerial Team. Assistant Program Director will supervise approximately twenty five staff persons including Teachers, and instructional Assistants. Assistant Program Director will chair Team meetings, Progress meetings and any other Team meetings. Assistant Program Director will oversee LABBB Transportation, Collaborate on Budget. This will be a 12 month position. This position will supervise, and prepare budget for LABBB Summer Extension Program (LESP) during August.
Qualifications: Substantial experience in Special Education or School administration. Assistant Program Director must have excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills and be familiar with the organization and culture of a Collaborative. Must have understanding of special education laws and regulations, behavior analysis skills, and budgeting. Minimum of a Master’s Degree; Certification as Special Education Administrator or Principal required.

Home Based Therapist

Position/Title: Home Based Therapist, 6-10 hrs/wk, $25.00 hr
Qualifications: The LABBB Family Support and Parent Consultation Program offers families ongoing assistance and guidance on issues specifically related to life at home.
Home Services include the implementation of programs by a trained home service paraprofessional.
Programs typically address the same issues as consultation but with paraprofessionals initially teaching skills to the student while at the same time training parents to generalize these skills when the home service worker is not present. During home services at least one parent must be home and involved during each session. Home service goals are reflected in the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and data are collected as with any academic or life skill goal in school. Responsibilities will be Implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction procedures, Assisting with activities of daily living, Providing feedback to parents and other caretakers as appropriate, Working under the supervision of a BCBA, Participating in trainings and weekly meetings with BCBA, Documenting intervention plans, goals and outcomes as required.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible self-motivated individual familiar with managing children's behavior along with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team to accomplish goals.
Knowledge of special education preferred. Experience in ABA preferred.
