All LABBB Educational programs include an additional summer program
Home Service Program
The home services program encourages collaboration between teachers and parents by generalizing skills
learned in the classroom to the home. Certain goals of the program include parent training and teaching self-care
and domestic skills. Progress with these goals are monitored through weekly home visits with parents.
Therapists have significant training in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Verbal Behavior and other education
that pertains to teaching children to become more independent within the home environment. Home services are available
to the member districts through the I.E.P process.
Integration / Mainstreaming
The LABBB Program is also committed to the philosophy of integration. LABBB students can have the opportunity
to be mainstreamed in regular classrooms when appropriate to their abilities and functional needs. LABBB teachers
work closely with regular education teachers, setting up methods of evaluation and classroom accommodations.
